Abstract

Target of this research is to identify and formulate of free-merchant woman work ethos at central of tourism area in Bali and to know relation among ethos work of free-merchant woman with socio-culture conflict. This Research used approach "Critical Etnography Research" in research paradigm qualitative. Research data collected by using partisipative observation, interview, quitionaire, and document studies. Overall of research data a nalysed by using technique analyse qualitative with analysis model pass by dots-quickly.Result of research indicate that: (1) all of free-merchant woman in Bali have typical of activity ethos and have the open character, (2) there are bearing having the character of magic-logical among ethos work of all free-merchant woman in Bali with friction of local socio-culrure, (3) patterned thinking and behavior of all free-merchants woman give very positive contribution to construction effort and added values for existention of Balines society.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the strategy used Pondok Pesantren Asy-Syamsiyah in overcoming the problems that exist, to determine the increase in knowledge management systems and skills of teachers Pondok Pesantren Asy-Syamsiyah, to determine the role of Ash-Syamsiyah boarding school in guidance santri. This study uses qualitative research. The data obtained in this research through direct observation of researchers examine and follow the activities at the Pondok Pesantren As-Syamsiyah Denpasar Bali, interview the researchers interviewed teachers, administrators, and students is in boarding school, from books to documents in the administration there in the office, photos and other documents. The study yielded that the competency of teachers is lacking with the lack of training and education boarding school teachers, teachers who lack formal education can affect the  management manage. In developing the potential of students, teachers provide training in accordance with the talents of students outside of active learning.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine: (1) the relationship between achievement motivation with teacher performance, (2) the relationship between principal leadership behaviors with teacher performance, (3) the relationship between the performance of the teachers  work ethic, (4) simultaneous relationship between achievement motivation, school leadership and work ethic with the performance of. This study was designed with a correlational design ex-post facto by using a quantitative approach.The study population was  all teachers in SMA N 1 Kubutambahan. The sample retrieval technique using census study with the number 47. Data were collected by questionnaires. Data were analyzed by multiple regression and partial analysis. The results showed that: (1) there is a significant contribution to the achievement motivation with teacher, (2) there is a significant contribution between principal leadership behaviors with teacher performance, (3) there is a significant contribution to the work ethos of teacher performance, (4) there is a significant contribution between achievement motivation, school leadership behavior, and work ethos simultaneously with the performance of teachers

Abstract

This study aims to determine the attitude of teachers towards professional  determination, self-concept, and the climate of primary school to the performance. This study is “ex-post facto” population of 83people, 73 people sample. Data collection tool is in the form of questionnaires, data analysis with regression techniques. The  result showed that: (1) there is a significant determinant between teacher attitudes the profession with teacher performance with the correlation coefficient of 0.401, (2) there is a significant determinant between self-concept of teachers with teacher performance with the correlation coefficient of 0.325, (3) there is a determination significant difference between the climate of the school with teacher performance with correlation coefficient of 0.337, contributing 11.3% and the effective contribution of 6.2%, (4) the co-operation between teachers’ attitudes towards the profession, self-concept, and work climate with performance teachers with multiple correlation coefficient of 0.465 and a 21.6% contribution to the performance of teachers.

Abstract

The study was conducted in order to figure out and analyze the correlation coefficient between (1) work motivation and the teachers’ performances at SMP Negeri 2 Bebandem; (2) teachers’ professional competencies and the teachers’ performances at SMP Negeri 2 Bebandem; (3) work morale and the teachers’ performances at  SMP Negeri 2 Bebandem; (4) work motivation, teachers’ professional competencies, and work morale toward the teachers’ performances at SMP Negeri 2 Bebandem.The study utilized an ex-post facto design, while the data were collected by using questionnaires ofachieving motivation, teachers’ professional competencies, and work morale, as well as the teachers’ performances. The data were analyzed by multiple regressions and correlation test. The population of the study is 43 teachers of SMP Negeri 2 Bebandem. Based on the findings that the variables of work motivation, teachers’ professional competencies, as well as work morale could become predictors to improve the teachers’ performances.
